Manantial Neighbourhood Services Inc. (MNSI) is a non-profit charitable organization that provides crisis intervention and newcomer integration services to primarily Latin American immigrants (individuals and families) in the Downsview and surrounding area of Toronto, and in south Vaughan. Manantial is particularly focused on serving the needs of youth and women victims of domestic and other violence, and on providing leadership training to youth and seniors with a view to increasing their self-confidence and ability to help others—especially fellow immigrants—to adjust to life in a new country.
MNSI’s programs and services are offered in both English and Spanish.
MNSI encourages individuals and families to further develop their life skills, and strives to increase their knowledge and awareness of the rights that all Canadians enjoy and the services available to them in the community. Above all, MNSI aims to help them to prosper and assume a leadership role in their adopted country.
Through the involvement of dedicated staff and volunteers, MNSI's programs and services include:
One-on-one family counselling and crisis intervention
Newcomer settlement and referral services
